You know, I am too.
Many times we still can't believe it actually happened.
I'm with you, Kathy. For the first time in a long time.
I was 18 and living in Evanston, IL when the 1968 Democratic convention took place in Chicago. The hideous events in Grant Park 40 years ago have finally been supplanted by the amazingly joyous and PEACEFUL occasion of Barrack Obama's acceptance speech. Pure elation. I am so incredibly proud, and I finally feel as if America has a world-class leader again.I told one friend that it felt like I was a teenager returning home to my parents. I felt secure and safe and full of trust. What a profound feeling.
me too :)
