Hiking in Moran State Park, around Mountain Lake. This was almost a four mile hike, and all the kids handled it great. It was so quiet hiking there and the lake was so clear we could see all the way to the bottom where logs had fallen in years earlier. Toward the end of our hike, we stopped for a sit by a rope swing. Soon several people stopped by for a swim and we saw the terrifyingly high drop they took off that big swing into the icy cold water of the lake. Texans aren't equipped for water like that, trust me.
